HOW IT WORKS
You need our help
You've moved home or you're just looking to refresh a room or two and give it a new lease of life. You value a beautiful finish and would like something individual to you, that you can't buy 'off the peg'. You've come to the right place - let the fun begin!

Kicking off the project -
The discovery call
The first stage is to book a discovery call. Either pop over to the Get in touch page and send us a few lines explaining your project first or simply book a time for Jane to call you to learn more: Book a Discovery Call
During the call, we'll get to know each other a little, Jane will discover what you're looking to achieve in your home and you'll be able to ask any questions you may have. From here, we go on to book a consultation in the home.

The home visit

For a small fee of £40 (payable before the day but it will be credited against services ordered within 3 months), we'll come to your home to measure up, get a feel for your ideas and any problems you're looking to solve, and show fabric books and samples. We can discuss whether you'd like curtains or a blind, the types of linings on offer, whether you'd like interlining or not, the type of curtain heading and the fabric you have in mind, whether you'd like it trimmed, a border, perhaps you'd like cushions or a headboard to compliment your window treatments and so on.
Quotation stage
Once we have all the measurements we can price up the job and send you a full estimate with everything included.. there'll be no surprises in our invoices! We're happy to rework your estimate with different make up options and fabrics until you're happy with everything.

The real work starts
On acceptance of the estimate, we'll request an initial payment of 50% of the invoice (or the cost of the materials, whichever is higher) to kick the project off.
We place the order for the fabric as soon as payment is received. Once the fabric is received by us, we can schedule the fabrication. It isn't uncommon for us to experience delays in receiving the fabric from the manufacturers, which is why we can't schedule the making until we have the fabric to work with. On average you can expect the work to be completed in 4 to 6 weeks of the fabric arriving at the workroom. During that time we'll keep you up to date with progress every two weeks. A couple of weeks before your treatments are finished, we'll be in touch to organise a date for us to deliver and hang your curtains and blinds.
Ta-dah!
The final reveal! We'll deliver and hang your beautiful treatments on the day agreed. We always advise that you use our professional fitter to install your tracks, poles or blinds for peace of mind, but you are welcome to fit them yourself. We'll discuss this at the initial consultation. In order to ensure that the length of your curtains is perfect for you, we will usually arrange for our fitter to install curtain poles and tracks prior to finishing the curtains, unless you opt for an overlong length.

Once the curtains are hung, the blinds fitted and the cushions plumped, you sit back and admire the wonderful space you've created. Or, perhaps you'll be like one of our clients who said "I keep pulling my blinds up and down. Every time I see them they make me smile!"
The investment will be worth it as, with minimal maintenance, they'll be looking good for many years to come.
